I can't believe how fast February went by and we are almost HALF way done with March. Things have been crazy and VERY busy at school! I apologize for not posted a lot last month!!
Here's what we are learning this week and next week! Math: This week and next week we are learning about time. Students are learning how to tell time to the nearest minute. Students should be able to tell time using an analog clock. Next week students will be learning about elapsed time. For example....If Sally went to the grocery store at 3:20 and spend 45 minutes there, what time did she leave? Science: We have been learning about the 5 regions of GA and the plants and animals that live there. Currently we are learning about the habitats and adaptations that plants and animals have to survive. Writing: Our main focus right now in Writing is preparing students for the constructive response questions they will be doing on the Milestone. Reading: We are currently working on the elements of Stories, Dramas, and Poetry. Next week we will be working on Main Idea and details and Asking and Answerin Questions. Everyday in reading and math we are SPIRALING back to standards from the beginning of the year to help review for the Milestone. To help prepare your student please look over the Math and Reading homework each night with them. I also will be sending home study guides. Feel free to use them as you guys please. FEEL FREE to email me with any questions you may have!!!!
